Harman Kardon Enchant 1300 Soundbar

I purchased this along with the Harmon Kardon Enchant Subwoofer and I can say that I am ecstatic with the performance of the pairing. I made this purchase with the intent to replace a $200 Vizio soundbar that would unfortunately result in distorted audio especially during human dialogue. Setup was a breeze following the Google Home mobile app setup prompts. Once setup was complete, the Enchant 1300 had to update its software which took about 10 minutes overall to download and install. Afterwards, I initiated the Automatic Multibeam Calibration (AMC) while making sure to remove any unusual obstructions in the vicinity of the sound bar. The Enchant 1300's audio delivers a rich full sound which fills my living room, and compares well with a true 5.1 surround sound system. Throw in the subwoofer, which delivers in terms of deep bass, and you have an phenomenal audio experience. I have the Enchant 1300 wired directly to my Samsung QLED 4K TV using an optical audio cable, while my TiVo and Xbox One are hooked up to the TV via HDMI. Conversely, I could have wired the TiVo and Xbox One directly to the Enchant 1300 and then wired the Enchant 1300 directly to the TV making use of the HDMI ARC feature. Either way, you have plenty of port options to support a multitude of setups. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the Enchant 1300 especially when paired with the wireless Enchant Subwoofer. The soundbar and subwoofer are a bit pricey, but overall a winner when you consider the quality and overall performance of the system.
