Well, I like it so much and I am about to buy another. (UPDATE March 12th)

UPDATE MARCH 12th I received the second Pixel 3 and it was in beautiful condition. Yes, they put a crappy charger in the box but that can be upgraded. But after two weeks the bottom speaker volume became too low to hear. And the bottom speaker is where notifications and ringtones come from (as well as sound when in landscape viewing). Contacted Google support twice (very friendly) and was run through the paces (boot into safe mode, factory reset, accesory options) and no fixing it. Online search revealed this is a problem going back to 2018. Contacted Amazon support (also friendly) and was advised to return phone. So now we see how well the return policy is honored. But I am ordering another from them even as we speak. I don't buy anything without reading reviews, so I am going to keep this one going. So my Moto X4 turned out to be a big disappointment so back to shopping I go. My MIT graduate friend has a Pixel 2 and shows me all the cool features. But camera is most important to me. Oh and that my phone doesn't decide to become a temporary paperweight when I need it to take a picture....now! So I read everything I can find about the Pixel 3 and compare the bench tests with other candidates. Price is a consideration and I have read horror stories about buying "renewed" devices. So I figure if I'm going renewed then I would also get the two-year warranty as well. So shopping I go and after eliminating a number of phone sellers I settle on this merchant. Now since this phone does not come with an sd card slot I go with the 128 Gig unit in black and check off the square to also pay the additonal for the two-year insurance and off into cyberdom goes my order. And two-days later I get a notification that my phone is in a Prime delivery van and now 6 stops away from my home. My wife awaits the delivery and promptly opens the well packaged box containing: Nondescript white box in which the phone resides Aftermarket charger and USB-C cable Well, that's it. Not a single scratch or swirl to be found. The phone looks new. I charge it and begin he process of transferring items from my old phone to the new. i thought I would have to do it all through Google but low and behold the Pixel is set up to allow a direct connection via USB (and an adapter) between the Pixel 3 and my old Moto X4. And while it is doing the set up and can still do other things on the phone to get it going. So after it is all set up I begin to play. First update the camera app to the newest version so I can do astro-photography (though you do lose photobooth and a few other items.) Wow, the low light pictures are amazing. I take a picture in a room so dark a can barely see and yet without flash the picture is bright enough I can read the writing on the object photographed. Also, this phone is fast. I did install Nova Launcher (my goto for many years) and was able to configure it to work so well. So now a the end of the weekend I see it is time to upgrade my bride's Samsung. So online I go to buy the same phone, from the same seller and with the same two-year warranty. I will keep you posted and update this review as time passes. But now it is time to buy another Pixel 3.

This "renewed" phone has been a nightmare compared to a OEM phone.

Well I had to order a cheap phone replacement when I dropped my previous pixel 3 into water and it did not make it. I thought this phone would be exactly like my other pixel 3. The picture quality is good, the phone condition is good and the sound quality is good. The thing where its weird and lacking is all the features. The phone sometimes takes 10 minutes to text me my 2FA code, google security code or anything of the like. Sometimes it never sends me my code. It is not my service as its the same service my other pixel 3 was on. There is also problems with like call screening, which does not work at all. It have gone through all the rabbit holes of trying to fix it but it just keeps giving me the error "be on wifi to activate" even when im on wifi. Whats worse is I get voicemails sometimes days after they are sent thinking I got no voice mail to begin with. This phone has screwed me pretty bad out of medical appointments, meetings, ect. This is poorly "renewed" and I highly suggest staying away from these phones if you value less stress because this phone has only stressed me out. When I asked support they told me to send it into a 3rd party company, no. Just renew things correctly the first time. I don't have time for your garbage products that you can't fix properly. Overall its been a nightmare and its faulty as it gets.
