An Excellent Surge Protector from the "Amazon" Product Line.

The Amazon surge protector is an excellent product. The bright green light on the plug side of the item can be bright and distracting, but it is not a deal-breaker for me. However, I will have to replace it since I have to use it with an extension cord, which electricians do not recommend. It's advised to plug directly into the wall's power outlet. The unit comes with an 8-foot cord, which is good, but I need at least a 15-foot cord for my needs in order to plug into the electrical socket. The item is currently "unavailable"; I hope that it is reissued with more cord length options (e.g. 15-foot, 20-foot, etc.). I absolutely LOVE the spacing of the 12-outlets, which is perfect for my needs. I hope it is reissued with more cord length options, I would look forward to buying it again. I highly recommend this prodiuct.

Worked OK for about three years

It worked for about three years but unfortunately it was so compact that I had to buy another Strip because it wouldn't fit all the necessary pugs. On top of that this was supposed to be one of my best power strips and it ended up going out before my other strips that were supposed to be supposed to be less efficient. I am a little disappointed and this product because I was expecting a lot more lifetime.
