Great monitor! Better QC than ASUS PG278QR!
By Gerger on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2018
Took a chance and bought this new model (XG2760) with no reviews that I could find. I had previously bought the ASUS PG278QR but it had backlight bleed along the bottom and the panel was brighter on the left and top. This Viewsonic in comparison is beautiful! No backlight bleed and the panel is very uniform. I also have a 32" BENQ VA and this new XG2760 looks VERY close in image quality (Despite being a TN panel). I think this might be the same panel as the ASUS or maybe a newer version as they both had good colors but this has no defects! G-Sync works great in the few games I've tested it on (Overwatch, Wreckfest, Fortnite). Build quality is close if not as good as the ASUS. I prefer the design of the Viewsonic but I liked the OSD controls on the ASUS more.

2 Monitors, Both with varying dead pixels out of box - DOA - ViewSonic XG2760 27" 144hz 1ms
By Kyle S. on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2018
I was really excited about this monitor and it looks great for a TN display and Gysnc works amazing. My gripe is I have had 2 monitors now and both have had dead pixels out of the box. The first one had 2 stuck red pixels and the one I just received has a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. ViewSonic has a zero dead pixel policy... But I dont want to have to keep exchanging to get a fully working monitor. I get these can go bad from use, but have stuck red pixels or a dead one in the middle of the screen kind of ruins any web browsing as it just sticks out. I dont know if there is a QC issue or if this is the norm... Anyways Im hoping things can get worked out and I will adjust my rating accordingly. Again its an amazing TN gaming monitor for the short bit i have used it. Unfortunately A white screen test and other color screen tests have shown dead pixels on both displays out of the box. hopefully 3rd time is the charm.... I have messaged viewsonic via email to hopefully figure things out otherwise I guess its time to swap again and hope for the best. I really hope this isnt an issue with these. There are a lack of reviews on this new 27" monitor and I took a gamble giving it a shot not knowing much about QC. fingers crossed
