Review: Works with Hubitat
By Waslost1 on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2020
For those who use Hubitat, it's probably no shock that this works flawlessly with the platform. I needed some buttons for various uses around the house because let's face it, we all have smart homes because we like being lazy. Picking up your Smartphone is way too hard right? I was able to pair three of these buttons easily and without issues. They all paired within a few seconds and all reported the temperature within 1/2 degree F of each other and my wall thermostat so no problems there at all. But these are buttons, not thermostats right? I bought them for the button function and didn't even realize they had temperature sensors, so what a bonus that was, especially at this price. Now that I have temperature reporting, I will be busy for months trying to find new ways to integrate that into everything and drive my family totally crazy! I keep one button on a table on my front porch for a ceiling fan, but with temperature, I can use it to alert me of a freeze warning so I know when to grab a blanket. Isn't that awesome, I would never had known to get a blanket before, but now I will always be warm. Oh yes, the button stuff works great too. I set mine up to toggle the fan on or off when I tap the button, it toggles the porch lights by double tapping it and it turns on all of the outside lights when I hold the button. The button range is surprisingly good too. I have a brick Ranch and this button seems to work throughout the 2000 sq ft. house. The build quality was much better than I expected at this price level. In fact, I would say it is great. It is very small at 1.5" square and about a half an inch thick. Hope I don't lose it! I may end up using the adhesive pads that came with it to stick it to the bottom of the table eventually, haven't decided yet. In summary, this is about as good as it gets until the smart home hubs just learn to read our minds. Oh what a joy it will be when that happens and I don't have to labor myself pushing buttons. I'm sure my grand children will never believe my stories.

Don't waste your money and your time
By Brent on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2019
I am a smart home fanatic. I recently went back to you Samsung SmartThings. I had the first generation hub it was a catastrophe In my opinion. So I recently bought generation 3 SmartThings hub. Interface has changed so I thought I would give it a try again. As for this button goes I use Philips hue tap. and I thought well instead of paying that $40 for another tab I would buy a couple of these. It's fairly easy to set up. You hit the add device buttons. You scan the QR code with your phone. And it takes care of the rest. Sounds simple right? Well once it's completed it says it's in standby mode. It says and needs to update software will update automatically when device comes available. I'll take it I have set up the other two buttons and they end up with the same problems. It's been about 3 days of troubleshooting and waiting for it to come out as standby. I'm pretty much done with it. It's going back to Amazon and the other one I bought at Best buy. I do have all my multi-purpose sensors from the old system what's the total of 5. which works perfectly fine. I have all my 4 motion sensors I was able to hook up without any problem. I was able able to get to New multi-sensor that I just bought that worked perfectly fine in set up and works fine right now. But these three buttons are waste of your money waste of your time I can't believe they even have a product that doesn't even work. let's say to make sure it's close to your wireless router I have set all three of these buttons within 6 inch of the wireless router for the past 3 days. This product is horrible.
