Not the best, but satisfactory enough.

▼△▼2022/04/01 Postscript.▼△▼ Hey there! Hope you are enjoying your monocular life. I have a bit of information for you today. This monocular is not bad, but I was concerned about flare when backlit. So I decided to install a hood. Let's conclude. 54mm, guys! The 54mm fit perfectly! The rubber covering the body was shifted slightly to expose the screw hole at the tip, and a step-up ring from 54mm to 55mm was attached. (......It fit smoothly in my case, but please do so at your own risk.) In my opinion, the flare seems to be much better and the sharpness of the image has improved. I would like to think that the effect was more than the investment of less than 10$ and the risk of losing some portability. And what's more! You can use CPL filters and all sorts of other filters as much as you want, and you might be able to attach a tele conversion lens to play with it, although I doubt it will work properly. It's a dream come true. ......Eh? Am I the only one who dreams like that? In the meantime, I have uploaded a photo of a 55mm camera lens hood attached, if you would like to take a look. Also, some cute birds. ▼△▼△▼△▼△▼△▼△▼△▼△▼ My hobby is observing and photographing wild birds with monoculars and smartphones. Sometimes I use a tripod, but I prefer handheld if possible. I was using Nikon 6×18ED but it was too dark. So I bought this one, which uses an ED lens with a 50-diameter. The size of the 50-diameter lens was very effective for my purposes. Bright! It's bright! Unfortunately, the chromatic aberration was quite large and the effect of the ED lens was not as high as I had expected, but perhaps my expectations were too high. Or maybe the price is right. If you take darker pictures, the aberration becomes much less noticeable. It's still in the testing stage, but you can check it out in the attached photo. I think it is a good value monocular for those who think that this level of photography is sufficient. I am also satisfied with the price. However, I am planning to test it with the [Opticron dba vhd+ 10x42 monocular] or [VANGUARD VEO HD2 1042M] for a further leap. What? Are you saying it's smarter to buy a good camera? Ha-ha-ha-ha! I used the Huawei P30 Pro. Video was taken with the standard lens, and photos were taken with the 5x telephoto lens. (Standard lens is 500mm with digital zoom x 1.6, telephoto lens is 1620mm) Slow motion shooting is recommended since handheld video shooting can be blurry. Also, it is useful to use a dot sight together, even if it is a cheap one. It also makes it easier to find wild birds when observing them. Well, wishing you all a better monocular life!

By Sandra S. Stewart on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2023
I planned to use this on a trip next week to take distant photos through my phone. The description said a smartphone adapter would be included but it was not. Since there's no way to get the adapter sent befor I travel, Im sending the scope back
