Great product but be aware USB ports are always on

This was the only wall tap that I could find with two outlets and a switch. I have an old tablet and Bluetooth speaker in my kitchen for watching YouTube and referencing recipes. I got tired of plugging them in and unplugging them from the nearby wall outlet to charge. I also wore out a couple of USB cords. This product provided the solution I was looking for. I now have the ability to stop charging with the push of a button without pulling plugs. I would give this product 4 and a half stars because I do not like the fact that the USB ports are always on. Some people might like that but I do not. However it's not really a deal-breaker. In fact my setup works better using the actual AC outlets and charging blocks that would otherwise be sitting in a drawer.

Everything is fine, except...

We have these hooked up to two sump pumps. The idea here was that I did not want a surge to destroy my sump pumps in a storm, when I most need them. There is a design issue that makes this incompatible. When the power goes out and comes back on, the green button on these has to be pushed to reset the outlet. This means when power goes out during a storm, when it returns my sump pumps do not operate until I manually push the green button. Not a workable solution for when I'm asleep or not at home. Other than this, the products are great. if this feature or flaw, as I assume it is one or the other, does not matter to you, then you should buy this product.
