Helix’s Emerge Black Helix 3.5mm Earbuds is solely average earphones which is neither extremely good nor bad. It has decent audio quality, a universal controller button, and extra earbuds to accommodate different ear sizes.The canal-type earplug is pretty well-sealed and highly soundproof. You might not want to use these earphones for a regular trip or outdoor exercise as you may not notice the surrounding sound like, say, a car behind you. Also, the fitting of these earbuds is pretty good too. I can barely feel irritation after a few hours of continuous use.I checked the bass extension goes as low as 20 Hz. I could only check the treble extension up until 15 kHz, but I assume it goes higher. About the average result for this price range.Some negatives: I found the design of the control button rather cheap in quality. The cord is a regular audio cable that you can find in any type of audio device; nothing particularly rings a bell that it is "special" or "durable" as they proclaim in the description.All in all, this is a decent earphone. It certainly does what it should do. At the same time, I hardly find any reason to prefer this particular product over other earphones, especially there is much superior product at a lower cost.
