Not too bad

Me and my mom's houses are 250 ft apart. We are able to talk back and forth. Her house is really hard to get signals probably because of the tin roof and other obstructions, but it works really well. I can go about 1/4 a mile outside and she's inside and she can still hear me, which is really good. I haven't tested both being outside but I could probably say on a flat surface, that could easily reach a mile possibly, but i haven't tested that yet. Not bad radios. Oh, the flashlight is really not that bright. It may be bright enough if there are no other light sources, but for regular usage, don't rely on it.

Distance inside metal buildings

Does not work well in a mall setting. Will not reach the 500 ft. space between out two stores. Disappointed.
