LG PK5 XBOOM Go BT Speaker

The product is great and sounds wonderful. The speaker has build in volume control as standalone so you can max the volume on the phone you are using and control how loud you want it on the speaker and this is completely independent as far as I can tell. The base boost is good and it has quite a lot of punch for the size of the speakers. The lighting feature is nice but I'd like to have it be more customable then just selecting a color and or rainbow, but it's still a cool touch that they light up. The speaker can get really loud and the pause/play button being skip forward and back is a nice touch as the button layout on top is nice. The back cover is a tad harder to get off than most of the waterproof speakers that I've used but it's not too hard as long as you have something to unwedge it, but it being hard to take off isn't a bad thing as it makes sure that it stays secure so that water doesn't get in the speaker through the charging port or aux which is really bad. The charging time is 4 hours according to the online manual which is long especially with using the recommended 5V, 1.8 amp power adapter but 4 hours isn't too long but it's enough to be inconvenient if you forgot to charge it before going out. The LCD battery light indicator also doesn't stay on like most speakers I have and requires you to hold the power button which I find to be a bit annoying but with the app you can view what the battery is at with what looks like it's to the nearest 10 (doesn't show 84% but 80% instead). Overall though, it is a good speaker and decently loud one.
