We replaced our older Defender brand 8-channel system with this. What a world of difference! Picture quality is fantastic, setup was easy, and the user interface is so much better than we were used to. This item was advertised as refurbished, but you would never tell! Everything was new and in perfect condition. Very happy with the purchase! We are using this system to protect a retail store, with cameras both inside, and outside overlooking the parking lot.

Depending on your internet, could be very tricky to install. System is constantly going out and resetting the PTZ cameras I have connected to it. Mobile app is a joke, works half of the time. No way to control the PTZ camera from the app. Only way to view the system on a computer is through Internet Explorer. Called the tech support and confirmed there is only one app to view on your mobile device and only IE to view on the computer. Would not recommend buying it. Was hoping to send it back but policy is only 30 day return.
