Google USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Jack

Adapters like this are a terrible replacement for 3.5mm auxiliary jack. They are easy to lose, do not fit and stay in place nearly as good, and are inherently incompatible with every single thing you would want to use it for. Those obvious design flaws aside, the hardware used is simply unacceptable and these adapters have only gotten worse since launch. The initial one I got with my pixel 2 lasted less than a year before becoming completely unusable. A second batch I got are experiencing connectivity issues after just a few months. As if it wasn't frustrating enough to have your music suddenly cut out, it also has a horrible screeching static noise to let you know the connection fails if the adapter is touched in anyway. Given how faulty and cheaply made these are I would not recommend and I have had no luck with support getting any kind of response for this below mediocre component.
