Fun game but beware original Xbox one users
By Kevin on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2018
This is a really fun game! It's adult fortnight with no building capability. The game has issues. I will not lie about that. Its laggy sometimes and sometimes it takes graphics a few seconds to render once you land after parachuting. And that's where it pays to have an updated version of the Xbox One. The later versions of the console have better processing and can handle the massive graphics in this game better and give a slight advantage in gameplay. For example I have a first generation console and will occasionally get killed before my graphics have fully loaded. In light of that fact, I still LOVE this game. It's fun to play squads and solo. There's so much randomization to each round that every game is different on a huge map. I have wasted far too much time on this game and will probably continue to for a long time. The gameplay is fun unique and always different. It's challenging and has issues but still gets 5 stars. If you like strategy, mayhem, and killing people, you'll love this game. Highly recommend!

A fun game that looks and runs horribly on Xbox One.

Obviously this is an early access/preview game, but the condition they released it in is unacceptable and barely playable, especially during gunfights. The framerate on both the original Xbox One and Xbox One X almost never hits 30fps. You will almost constantly be between 20-25fps. This combined with the insane amounts of input lag and lack of aim assist (which the latter would be perfectly fine if the game was at a locked 30fps and low input lag), makes for an extremely rough game. When driving a vehicle or parachuting down from the plane, you'll be running the game between 15-20fps at the most, and buildings won't load until a good 15-30 seconds after landing on the ground. You can walk through walls during this time, as well as fall through the ground occasionally. The game freezes/crashes a bit too often. There are a lot of bugs with this version as well. Need to invert your aim? That'll also invert the map screen, bizarrely enough. Managing your inventory is clunky and very often will not let you select anything for a few seconds. There's no settings in the main menu, you have to be in-game to do so and all you can change is sensitivity, deadzones, and invert aim. Nothing else. The graphics are set to Very Low on OG X1, and Medium/Low on Xbox One X. The game looks pretty terrible, with muddy textures everywhere. In it's current state I cannot recommend this game whatsoever. Once they lock the framerate to a minimum of 30fps I'd give this a solid 3-4 stars.
