ANTOP Adjustable TV Antenna Mount Pole

I used this to install a weather station that required a fairly straight up and down mounting pole. The following was my experience mounting the Antop Pole which I found to be different then the instructions and very awkward to install. First off there is supposed to be a single bolt and nut to lock the height per the instructions however the unit is provided with 2 small bolts/nuts and that have to be individually installed and are very awkward to install because you have to install them from the inside out. The bolts poke out significantly on either side (see picture). there is a lot of play between the pole and the bracket so as much as you are careful to level the wall bracket the tube or shaft will not be at the same level after the tube its tightened. In my case it was best to tighten the top bracket mounting lag bolt, then after setting the north level on the tube tighten the pole bolts readjust the pole to level and tighten more. Then level the east side of the pole will holding there and installing the 2nd lag bolt at the bottom and tighten it. Once every thing it tightened down then recheck the levels and hopefully if more adjustment is needed you will have enough play when you loosen the bolts to adjust and re-tighten. The top log bolt has little room between pole and lag bolt so a wrench is needed to tighten it. The bottom lag is more open and a ratchet and socket can be used. the pole bolts stick out so far a wrench has to be used because the bolts are too long for the socket to reach the nut.
