Simply an amazing drone!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2017
Simply an amazing drone! I have never flown a drone of any kind before and I have been having so much fun getting to know how to fly it. I was amazed by the flying time. I had done some research and found that most drones only fly for about 7 minutes whereas this one is advertised to be able to fly for up to 15mins. I was not really keeping track but I think it actually flew longer. Since I am new to drones, this extra time really allowed me to get comfortable with the controls. Instructions were super easy and if you have ever played a video game then it will become a breeze to fly once you get used to it. It has altitude hold, which means that it basically flies itself. It is important to be sure that you set up the drone carefully. I crashed a couple of times and realized the drone is very durable. After one crash, I noticed that the controls seemed a little off. From there, I learned that all you need to do is recalibrate. Calibrating is simple so just get in the habit of doing it as often as possible. In short, with the price and quality, I am sure there is no better option out there.

Good but Not Great
By Sairseal on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2017
I purchased this as a gift. It's a decently made product that comes packaged well. The design is sound in that it's repairable and the company does make parts readily available on their website. Pairing it with an iPhone was easy and the image was clear and crisp. WiFi range is decent; the signal drops off at about 125-150ft. It also is very stable as a camera platform must be. Flight time on a full charge was 14 minutes on the first flight. There was no second flight. After recharging the battery, it was taken outside for flight number two. Things started off great and then it flipped over on its own and crashed into the ground. Fortunately, it was hovering low at the time. The problem was immediately evident - one of the motors had failed catastrophically. It was locked up solid. The motor housing is removable exposing the motor and wiring. It was hard to get the motor out because it overheated and slightly melted the plastic housing, but we got it out and ordered a replacement motor. Overall it's a decent drone with a decent camera that handles decently. Nothing spectacular about it though. There's no reason why this has a 720p camera when 1080p cameras are readily available and cost peanuts. A motor problem is unfortunate, but stuff happens and it is repairable, However, if this had happened at higher altitude or over an unfriendly ground surface it could have destroyed the drone. Also, before you buy this please check around on the web. The same drone is sold under several names and you might get a substantially better deal!
