The Yoozon tripod hits the sweet spot with a quality design for a steal of a price. With a perfect balance of durable hardened plastic and solid aluminium the tripod feels like it should cost twice its value. The functionality is superb with a swivel device clamp that can shoot landscape and portrait, 4 tier extension that will stay at any height you decide to adjust it to, BLUETOOTH remote that for me...worked at a distance much greater than advertised, remote also slides seamlessly into the handle at the perfect location to snap selfie stick type photos, handle fans out into the tripod base which provides better than average stability on a flat surface. One of my favorite parts of the entire thing is the design in which it tightens the device clamp into position, its is very solid and will not budge even with my Galaxy S8 in it's clamp. With cheaper ball head designs, I've over tightened and snapped the piece right off. I will be taking this to the Rockies in 3 weeks and based on my experience with it so far I am confident it will provide a platform to shoot stunning landscape images, and allow me to actually be in my photos with whomever else. This is a major GO so if you're on the fence or debating on the other 3 or 4 popular options of which I own 2....I would strongly recommend this guy . You won't be let down!!! Good job Yoozon you nailed it!

I've been playing with the stick for a few days now and must say that I like this stick over most others that I've used (with one pretty serious caveat). On the positive side of things, the grip that holds the phone is firm and well made. It doesn't look like its going to come apart any time soon (at least from initial inspections) but it is limited to holding your phone in landscape mode only. You'll have to hold the stick sideways to get a portrait shot. I like how the camera mount portion was designed so that it will nicely fold back on itself when you want to put the stick away in your pocket or backpack. The best thing I've found is the versatility of the handle as it turns into a tripod. This means that I can place the phone on the ground somewhere (or picnic table, etc) and then position myself for the picture. As the remote comes off the handle, this means I can actually step outside of arms length to take those selfie pictures. So whats the bad for me? Well, its bad enough I dropped from 5 stars to 3... Pairing the remote to the phone itself is rather easy. The problem is that once paired, the remote doesn't "take a picture" on my HTC 10, rather each time I press the button, it increases the volume one tick with each press. Its like the button is mapped to my volume button instead of the picture taking button. I figured there might be an easy fix for this however... in researching on google, bing, yahoo, etc and looking all over on this topic I can find... nothing. This doesn't mean I've given up, but I have invested quite a bit of time in trying to make this work with no luck so far. And no obvious place to ask for help or look for direct answers. The unfortunate part of online only companies that cut out the middle man is that when you actually do need help, there isn't anyone there to help you. I'm going to mess with this a couple more days before ultimately (and sadly) returning the product. Without a working remote, all the other "neat" items are worthless.
