Plug and play. Works perfectly.

Plug and play. Works perfectly. Just plugged my Firestick and the power adapter that came with the Power stick into this ethernet adapter - and plugged this adapter into my HDMI TV port ..... Done !! Fixed the lags and synch problems I was having !! And a great low price.

Lasted nearly 6 years, but alas, all things must end.

The Ethernet adapter works fine, for a while. I purchased in Aug. 2019 and it lasted until July 2025, at which point it became sporadic at allowing data through. Testing with a Speed Test in the Firestick 4k settings it would sometimes show the max throughput of 98 mbps and sometimes only 2 or 3 mbps. Testing with a computer with the same cable showed my usual 350+ mbps from my broadband cable. That's nearly 6 years so not too bad. We're now using a Nvidia Shield TV (tube) with their native Ethernet port that allows the full 350+ mbps through. Streaming only takes only a fraction of that, but it is noticably faster on HD content.
