High quality, probably the best!

Through my years, I’ve just owned a couple of volume pedals…one being the Yamaha pedal which came w the KX-88 and now this one thirty-seven years later. That Yamaha pedal didn’t communicate WELL with the new Roland Fantom 8 EX so started reviewing pedals. The other reviews didn’t compare to the Hammond’s reviews. I own a Hammond XK-5 which replaced my XK-3 and the Hammond pedal, I’ve had for many years, still worked perfectly. This one is exactly the same quality and weight without the big toe switch on the side for the Leslie speed. It is totally compatible and, after using it live w the Fantom, it is wonderful!!! At the end of our set with full strings & pad on hold, made a perfect decline to zero as the lights dimmed with the pastor beginning. Both pedals have no problem staying at the angle where you left them.

Only Choice for a Hammond Keyboard

If you want an expression pedal for a Hammond, this is your only choice. Other brands simply don't work. With other brands or generics, you get 100% of the effect in the final 5% of the pedal throw.
