Philips BDP1502 Blu-Ray Disc/DVD Player

I was never going to buy Blue Ray Discs or a player because I did buy into the hype that Blue Ray was better than any DVD movie or player! Then came along 4K or 4HD - whatever it is called, and the price of Blue Ray Discs and players dropped dramatically! This new format caused Disney to start releasing certain movies I wanted on Blue Ray only, but at much lower prices. I realized it was time to find a Blue Ray player! I have 3 VHS and DVD combo players, so I started a search for a DVD/Blue Ray combo player and Amazon popped up on my search engine and I found this combo DVD/Blue Ray player! What I like about this player, and is amazing, no separate compartments. Blue Rays and DVD's both play using the same disc player and you have the choice of several different movie formats that you can add with the right cable box, or your computer! Only one complaint, this player does not come with any type of TV, HDMI, or USB cable connections, and not mentioned in the description - so if you buy this make sure order or go buy a HDMI cable or whatever you are going to connect with this player to have on hand when this player arrives! I had to wait to use this player, until I received my HDMI cable which I also bought from Amazon! I did not have a spare HDMI cable and because of the Pandemic I was not about to go hunt one down!
