Excellent camera and sensors

What I like: The camera and door sensors were very easy to set up. Accessing the camera from a browser or my phone is also simple, and there are plenty of options to make it work the way I want. The field of view is much larger than I would have expected, so I haven't really needed to use the panning feature after setup. The door sensors are probably the best part, as I get alerts on my phone whenever the doors are opened, as well as a picture of the person entering my home. These are given within seconds of this happening, so even if someone stole the camera, I would still have all of this information. The camera itself is really well-designed. It feels sturdy, and the panning is fairly smooth. The image quality is fantastic. What I don't like: There is no IFTTT connectivity, nor does it currently work with Alexa. Zmodo says they would like to add these things, and if/when they do, I will update this review. I don't want to subtract a star for this, as the camera is fully functional in its own right.

Door sensor and speaker not working

Received the package couple days ago and it was very easy to setup. However, encounter several issues 1) the door/window sensor does not always work. Sometime it only show open and not close or vise versa. Sometime no notification at all. All 4 sensors have similar issues. Not sure is the Pivot hub response time too slow or receive defect sensors. 2) Can not hear anything from the speaker. The microphone is loud but can not hear anything from the speaker. It become only one way communication instead of 2 way. 3) The motion to move camera to a preset direction is very slow. Most of time, the camera only capture people moving out of the frame instead of from entering. Will try to debug more and update here if make any progress. Have high hope but now considering return it........ :-( 8/12 update Now my Pivot can not connect to wifi at all. Try to delete the device from phone app and add in the device again to restart the process. No success. Try multiple re-boot, re-connect......still fail. It only works for less than 5 days and now nothing work at all. Very disappointed. Will wait for a day and try again. If still not working, will return. 8/16 update One more try before return. Still can not connect to wifi despite multiple efforts to reinstall zmodo app and reset of the Pivot. Contact tech support and leave message couple days ago but no feedback yet.
