I would have given this drone 5 stars, but I can't. I bought this drone for my son. I have been flying drones for years now and he's always been interested in them especially after seeing some of the videos I have taken with them, so I figured I would buy him something that would be easier for him to learn and less expensive to damage than my $1,500 setup.I ordered this drone a couple of days ago. I have a large garage so used it as a safe haven for testing to make sure that everything was tuned in before taking it out into the wide open and teaching my son how to fly it. I was impressed by the control the drone had. I was able to easily fly it inside my home and maneuver into some really tight spots.Today after work I took the drone outside and flew it around my backyard. It handled very, very well. I showed my son how it easily did flips and he was eager to take over. I figured I would run the battery out and then let my son take over on a fresh battery. The lights on the drone began to flash which indicates that the battery is getting low. As soon as the lights began to flash I brought the drone about 5 feet in front and above of me and then attempted to land it.....this time however.....instead of coming down when I pulled down on the lever, it went up. I let off the lever and kept the drone in a hover, confused as to what just happened (keep in mind that I have been flying these things for 3 years so know how to work the controller, not to mention I had been flying it around in my home for at least 15 charges with 0 accidents.....it handles very well).....I tried pulling down again.....again it went up, I pushed UP on the lever just to see and the drone went up. I tried pulling down on the lever a third time and this time the drone began to climb even after I had let loose the lever, 15 feet, 20 feet, 30 feet....... I pressed the "function switchover" button which normally slowly lands the drone back to earth....but not this time. After hitting the "function switchover" button the drone began to rotate counter clockwise completely ignoring anything I did with the navigational levers. I tried the "headless mode" in a last ditch effort to regain control ( at this point the drone was still in my yard and not more than 60 feet away from me in clear view.....but not for long)......the drone ignored me and decided to do it's own thing instead. Up, up, up, up........... and away it went.In complete amazement we watched the direction it was heading in so quickly jumped into the car and headed out. My son had the display viewer hanging out the window hoping that we would somehow connect to the camera to see where the hell it had taken off to. No such luck.To say the least.....I am very disappointed. The drone worked flawlessly in the house.....over and under tables, down hallways, up stair cases. The controls are very easy to use and the drone performed extremely well. I don't know what kind of glitch happened but something was definitely faulty about the controls. It may have had something to do with the low battery since that was when it started to act like it was possessed with a mind of it's own, I don't know. I do know that it was a nice day, no wind, clear skies.....unfortunately the drone had other plans than to simply land for a quick battery change.

maybe 10 min of flight per battery and it is very small so it is not good on breezy days

Battery life is extremely short lived, maybe 10 min of flight per battery and it is very small so it is not good on breezy days. The range is also very limited and can easily get lost with no automatic return once range is reached with very little warning if any. Several occasions lost all power and controls high up and just falls straight down for no reason. Not to bad a toy but keep it low and close.
