You will not regret this purchase!
By The Best Yak Ever on Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2019
Okay, I love this little speaker. I had a cheapo DOSS speaker that was roughly the same size for my bathroom. I wanted my bathroom to have a Bluetooth enabled sound system to connect to an old iPad Air 2 that I have mounted on an articulating wall mount. I thought it’d be a perfect use for my old iPad but found that the DOSS system couldn’t get loud enough to hear over the running shower. I have always loved Bose products and decided to try out this system. It was inexpensive and produces phenomenal sound for such a small package. Not only can I listen to music without needing it to be cranked to max volume, but podcasts and YouTube videos come through loud and clear with the shower running full bore. I would have settled for a power cord reliant speaker, but this thing has a battery with great battery life. I have moved it to the kitchen while I cleaned, my soap workshop, and my garage shop. It’s ultra portable and amazing. Buy one of these pups, and don’t waste your money and time with cheaper systems. You’ll get what you pay for and won’t regret it. I ended up being so impressed that I also ordered a Bose Soundtouch 20 for my kitchen and a 30 for my living room. I guess almost every room in my house has an awesome sound system in it (media room has a Lifestyle 650 and bedroom has an older Lifestyle T20). The result, a house with incredible sound and music capacity.

Great Sound Quality, Battery Issues
By Wahkeena Sitka on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2018
I have dualistic feelings about this speaker. I will give you the Pros & the Cons. I've had this Bose Soundlink Mini II Speaker for about 2 months now. Pros: The Sound Quality is FANTASTIC. It's truly amazing. This speaker gives incredible bass and high quality sound. I love the portability of it. I don't have any problems pairing this with my computer and my phone. Truly a great speaker in terms of sound quality. Cons: I discovered a month after I received it that it stopped charging. For a few days, it was completely unable to charge while either being directly plugged in or sitting on the charging port. Nothing worked for several days and the battery % kept dropping. Then I went through page after page of old reviews on this product and other Bose Bluetooth speakers. And then I discovered that this is a common problem on ALL Bose Bluetooth speakers. And then I started researching other bluetooth speakers by other companies, such as Sony and JBL. Turns out ALL bluetooth speakers have issues with them losing the ability to charge the battery. It's an industry problem among bluetooth speakers. Disheartened, due to the prevalence of the problem among all bluetooth speakers, I decided to keep the speaker because there appeared to be no better option available. Fortunately, the speaker started charging again and I haven't had any problems the last few weeks. I'm cautiously optimistic. But I'm also nervous, because if you go through Bose Soundlink Mini II reviews, you will see MANY people complaining of the same problem that seems to get worse as the months go by. Again, the sound quality is FANTASTIC. It's just a matter of finding out if these speakers have any longevity. That's my major concern. Perhaps in 10 months I can update this review to reflect how it's lasted.
