ECHOGEAR Sound Bar Mounting Brackets

The only thing that was a problem was that the sound bar mounts are too short. I bought a Nakamichi 7.1 DTS sound bar; and the echo mounting brackets were far to short to reach the mounting inserts of the sound bar. It is a 45" sound bar; and the brackets are no where near long enough for a sound bar of that length. Unusual; since the TV mount is good for a TV up to 70". So to find the Echo sound bar extensions to be well short of the screw inserts on the sound bar; was somewhat disappointing. If they were a few inches longer; everything would have been absolutely perfect. Again; the actual TV mount is probably the best I have seen; and priced well below their competitors. The good news is that by using a bit of old fashion common sense and creativity; we figured put that if you revers the right sound bar extension bracket with the left; and mounting them at an angle, instead of straight down; they were able to reach the mounting holes. Not the way they were designed to be used; but it still worked and solved an otherwise bad situation. So my only comment to improve things; would be to make the sound bar extension brackets a few inches loner, and it would be perfect. I highly recommend this TV mount, and sound bar mount. as well built and functions flawlessly.
