They thought of everything!

Perfect headphones. Great quality and being able to change the bass on the fly is fantastic for when you want to go from listening to in-game music to listening to more speech-heavy cut-scenes where the treble is more important. I had a great time with it and never needed to charge it over the 2 or 3 hour sessions I used it for. But after 30 minutes or so in each session, I would have to adjust the headband to a different spot to even out the immense pain from the foam bumps on the headband to different parts of my scalp. My Oculus Rift S has a thin fabric strap going down the center of my head to keep it strapped on, thus it absolutely does not need the overcompensating two bump design the headband provides. Using it for for devices that do not include a centerpoint to go in that gap between the foam makes that foam deathly painful after a short while of gametime. It isn't memoryfoam or anything. However, to my surprise, I was able to tug at the foam a few times and reveal a sticky underlayer. I pryed it off with a small screwdriver as leverage and it peeled right off like a sticker. Threw that thing away immediately and never looked back. The headphones are now perfect and I can wear them for as long as my eyes can stand to game without even realizing i'm wearing them. I believe this is because the foam focuses the weight of the headphones on two small points of your head when there isn't anything going under the foam to keep it off your head, whereas no foam would even out the weight to the whole strap like a regular headphone. Overall, fantastic bass. Great sound range. Directional sound always works, even for youtube videos I don't expect it to work on, and it's always refreshingly immersive each time. The mic uservoice replay is incredibly useful for talking in chat rooms, however its hard to hear yourself during loud shootout games like Halo or Call of Duty. I am very very glad to have gotten the 4 velcro straps for wire management, I use them for all sorts of cables in my setup including arranging the wires for my vr headset and my headphones. Very reusable velcro if treated with care. They thought of everything with this VR specialized headset, especially being able to easily remove the uniquely shapes foam headband.

Was disappointed in the overall feel of the headset. Feels too much like a toy.

From the product picture, it looks very well constructed--a decent product for the price. I thought it had a much more "mature" appearance than some of the other Turtle Beach headset. Also, the Amazon reviews were pretty high, 4.5+, so I had pretty high expectations of this headset. When I got it, I really did not expect how cheap this product feels in the hand. It surprised me. I was about to put the headset back in the box and mail it back without even trying it. It's almost entirely made of plastic--even the head band. It felt cheaper than a $20 generic headset. I also didn't like how the ear phones swiveled around, the all plastic bracket seemed weak and breakable. Sound quality is pretty good. I never realized how much bass was in the soundtrack and special effects of most games. Conversations came in pretty clear as well. No complaints here. I like the fact that the mic and all the cords can be disconnected and the earphones can lay flat. This feature makes it very easy to transport the headset in your backpack. I think Turtle Beach should have marketed this headset as a traveling headset with a molded protective case. If TB did that, I can understand why they would choose to make it with light materials. I think that would have made it a fairly priced product if it came with a travel case. Overall, I feel uncomfortable using the headset. I feel like I have to be extra cautious, afraid that I will break it somehow. And my overall expectation is that this headset will be lucky to last 2 years. And that is not the type of product I am accustomed to buying--I don't like the thought of having to replace items in the near future. Headset are one product one should go into a physical store and try out. You can not base your purchase on a photo and good reviews.
