Cheaply made, subpar video and audio, would not stop turning on and off by itself.. the onscreen video was horrid.. Piece of junk

Not at all impressed. This unit clips over your rear view mirror, but the quality of the mirror is horrible. It is blue toned and is difficult to use at night. There are 3 modes of use for your cameras. Camera 1 is the camera facing ahead of the vehicle. Camera 2 can be set to record inside the vehicle. Then there's the 3rd mode showing both cameras. In this mode, it is difficult to see anything in either view since they are reduced in size too much. I set my dash cam to record only Camera 1. During my ride from work on a beautiful sunny afternoon, the sky was blue and everything else was pink. I thought I had the white balance set wrong. When I double checked, it was set on automatic. I did a restore to factory settings and still get the same results. Night driving, what little you can see that is recorded is still pink. Resolution is horrible in either day or night driving. I'm not sure if I just purchased a defective unit or if these are just this poor of quality, but I'll never know since I will not spend any more money on anything from Pyle.

I bought this to use as a P.I. and Process Server mainly as a CYA to protect myself and to review if needed. I haven't used it a lot, but what I've seen from this, it is working great. Nice clear pictures and I like the zoom feature.

I've had this for a few months now.Cons:1) Doesn't fit well over some mirrors. I had to really open up the clamps to squeeze it over the mirror.2) Audio is not great. Little low.3) Flashing blue light (recording) is a little distracting.4) The interface is not very good as it's a little hard to get around with the few buttons provided.5) Always defaults to dual-channel every time it starts up regardless of what setting is saved.6) Does not react/respond well when out of storage space.Pros:1) Price2) Features3) Video quality4) Cameras swivel and tilt*Make sure you format your SD card.

I really wanted to like this Dash Cam and, for the most part, I do. I love the features of it. The camera is awesome. It is very, very easy to use and set up. Unfortunately, the one I received started having problems the second day I used it. The LCD screen has lines across it. One camera flashes, which, if left in LCD mode, is very irritating. After two days, it started turning on and off intermittently. It also turned on and off every time I opened or closed a door in the vehicle. Unfortunately, due to the irregularity of its operation, I had to return it.

We have purchased two of these five years ago and purchased them again when they upgraded. These are, by far, the toughest and best video cameras for your vehicle. You can either point one camera out and one in, or put both cameras out for a wider shot. video is clear and audio is fantastic! Clips easy to the mirror and easier to wire than any other item we've used. I won't purchase another camera but this one!

No night vision. Memory gets full easily and you have to format every time. Its suppose to have a battery but its a joke. Is a good day cam but dash cams have to work day and night. Stop working on the second month.

I've tried a couple of clones of this device since the form factor meets my requirements the closest. This product meets all of my requirements except one important one: The ability to enable the night vision LEDs. Even though the product performs fine in daylight, video is completely dark at night and quite dim even when the interior lights are on. Obviously it's intended to record with IR but I'm guessing the firmware developers accidently removed the option from the UI which is similar, but not the same as the other rearview mirror dual cams I've tried, such as the Condor® Dual X and the Falcon Zero F360+. The one big advantage this firmware has it that it doesn't write corrupted files like the other two. I'm hoping Pyle will issue a firmware update that enable this feature soon which would bump this review up to 5 stars.

I do really like this Dual Car Dash Camera. I did notice when it arrived it looked as though it has been used. The mirror was just smeared with all kind of hand prints and the cable holders were not in pkg. and the tape were not there just the paper backings. When I turn my car on it takes several tries before it will actually turn on. I sent that I might possible get my refund but still do want even though I feel it has been used when I purchased this “ new unite. “ I also wish they could improve the internal night vision for the inside of the car, this would make this Dual Car Dash Camera Awesome!!!!!! And I would have given it the 5 stars.
