Great sound

This review comes after using the base for only two weeks, but we find it produces excellent sound qualities when compared to our Sanyo HDTV speakers. I connected the base using the supplied line-in cable, installed the battery in the remote, powered up and, so far, everything has been great. A few of the reviews mentioned the unit puts out too much bass - we do not agree at all with that assessment. We're content with using the "music" setting for probably 99% of our tv viewing which includes newscasts, listening to cable music channels, and many other program styles in between. This sound base also had a great price compared to other systems available on the market. For the price, it's great.

Delayed and sloppy base, terrible retun shipping cost.

The subwoofer bass is deep but very noisy, sloppy and delayed.The speakers are midrange dominate, no highs or lows.The unit will shut off in the middle of nowhere and won't tun on. The remote is extremely cheap.Did not return it because the return shipping is nearly the cost of the purchase price.
