Worst piece of garbage I have ever bought
By Avid Angler on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2018
Worst piece of garbage I have ever bought. I am totally surprised that Samsung has their name on this pile of....... Way too many issues to write about, the comments about noise and all the rest of the issues this thing has are correct facts. I would never think I would ever say anything bad about a Samsung product, but in this case I would buy something else. Revised on April 12th of 2020 Had this Samsung BD-J6300 DVD player for a little over three years now. If you want a smart DVD Blue Ray Player stay far away from this one, or just plan on it lasting a year, if your lucky. After that year you will start to see problems that you could never think a DVD player would have. It will start and cut out when it wants to, then play the last portion of the movie after you only watched the first ten minutes, fast forward won't stop, if you paused it, left the room for two minutes came back it wouldn't restart, sound would cut out constantly, you name it. Sooo frustrating. Now it will only read about 30% of the regular movies I have, and all my disks are like new. I don't even use it much anymore. I have to resort to a 16 year old Toshiba D-R400 DVD Player/Recorder that still works flawlessly, and has just as good if not better picture quality than the newer Samsung.. If you want to play Blue Ray buy a lower priced video game console.
