FASTER THAN I IMAGINED
By BuoyBell on Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2025
I have learned to buy by the gross if possible because future prices are likely to be more. In addition, I would have the item handy for a long time. I purchased a gross of Amazon AAA batteries 5 or 6 years ago, and they were good all the way through 2024's Thanksgiving, when I purchased some more of them. Over those years, they did not leak, and they all maintained their power level. I purchased a gross of AA batteries at the same time as the aforementioned first batch of AAA's; since AA's were more in demand, I used them up quicker. When I went online to replenish my supply, a trusted battery manufacturer had a huge sale I could not resist, so I purchased their AA batteries. They seemed to not last as long in use as Amazon's AA's, but I got my money's worth because the price was so low. I have never had an Amazon battery leak before use, and I believe I have had no more than one Amazon battery leak in use, (there is a famous leading brand of batteries that leak so often I never buy them, and when they come with something I buy, I take them out). I did not ask for it, I did not pay extra for it, but the batteries were on my doorstep about 3 hours after I ordered them. That was plenty fast enough for me! In my experience, Amazon's batteries hold their charge for at least 5 years, they do not leak, they last long in use, their price is usually lowest and now I can add they are delivered very quickly.

Good for the price

If you're looking for budget-friendly AA batteries for everyday, low-drain devices, these definitely deliver solid value. They're great for things like TV remotes, simple kids’ toys, or emergency flashlights—anything that doesn’t demand a high or constant power draw. For the price, they’re a good deal and get the job done in those situations. However, I originally bought them for use in cellular game cameras, and that’s where they fell short. Compared to Rayovac Pro Ultra batteries, these didn’t come close in terms of longevity, especially in colder weather. Once the temps dropped, they stopped working altogether, which was a dealbreaker for me. I’d recommend them for basic household use, but not for any outdoor or high-drain applications
