Pretty darn happy!

I bought two of these to go with my 8 camera kit. They make a great addition to my setup. I put one in the front and one in the back of my house. These 2 cameras basically cover the whole area in the front and back. I mainly bought them because I was curious about the dome cameras and how they work. I also bought them for the zoom and vandal proof housing. Plus, they look downright professional once installed. These are pretty awesome cameras. I wasn't expecting the excellent quality picture or camera housing that I received. I had to mount it low to take advantage of the wide view this camera offers. It would be useful to have extensions for this particular camera. I'm sure they exist somewhere, I just couldn't find them. I ended having to build my own extension to mount the camera on. The reolink app that comes with these cameras is pretty full featured. I enjoy the app for the most part, however, there isn't a high speed or low speed playback. You can do that from the DVR, directly. However, they need to make it available on the mobile app and the client.

Excellent system for basic home security, with a hard to be price, but their support is just awful.
By Paul G. Atlanta on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2016
After using these products for some time, I've felt forced to edit my review. I knocked them down to 3 stars based totally on their support, which is less than stellar. I bought three of these cameras, plus one RLC-423 PTZ camera. For the NVR, I bought the RLN8-410 with 8 ports for future expansion. Set up was a breeze, the NVR interface is a bit antiquated, but easy to follow and configure. I do most changes on the PC client application, which is far and away better than making changes with the NVR interface. The phone app was a breeze to configure as well. The 423 camera I received was defective (would not display an image) but Reolink quickly replaced at no charge. For simple home monitoring, this system is everything I wanted: Easy to set up and install, PoE, high image quality, and night vision. I've seen several posts that the night vision is sub par, but that has not been my experience, even in a total light-less environment. My only comments are: - Would be nice if Reolink had the outdoor dome camera with PTZ functionality. - The Dome cover is clear, which allows you to see where the camera is pointed. WIDE field of view, so anyone in the angle to see the camera is seen by the camera, but my preference would to have a non-clear dome for added security. PROS: Easy to install and configure Price is fantastic Equipment is all made with quality materials Picture quality is fantastic Night vision is fantastic CONS: 1. Antiquated (but easy to use) NVR interface 2. None of the cameras on this review have built-in sound capabilities (requires a separate microphone that can plug into the pigtail of the device), but I did not need that function. 3. Awful, just blatantly awful support. Releases come often, but are kludgey, and require a lot more effort than what their documentation indicates. Releases make note of 'features' added, but don't work with the ReoLink NVR, only if you're connecting via a third party router, which is a silly way to design, given they also offer the NVR as an option over a router.
