Works well; no issues for me.

I was a little worried before mine arrived, as I saw a lot of negative reviews, especially regarding the functionality of the D-pad. Someone even posted a YouTube video detailing how to break open the controller and modify it to be acceptable for use - I started to consider shipping the controller back as soon as I got it. Imagine my relief when I found absolutely nothing wrong with the controller. I plugged it up to my PC and made a profile in Xpadder to work with Street Fighter 5, and I am quite happy with it. I am definitely more of a controller person than a fight stick, so I had high hopes here. The D-pad has not given me a single ounce of trouble. It's a flat surface and completely circular - some people have criticized this. I find it refreshing - my thumbs no longer feel like they're going to get blisters after intense matches. My inputs just roll along the pad and come out flawlessly. For some characters, I actually prefer using the analog stick, and the positioning of this one works very well for it. Some reviews have mentioned that the pad and the stick are too close together, and they "accidentally hit one or the other" when doing inputs. I have huge hands and long fingers. Like, it's hard to find gloves for me in the winter because none of them fit huge. I have not once made an accidental input with either control method. I'm not sure what other people are doing to accomplish this, but... I haven't had a problem. Buttons are responsive, and you can switch the input setting so that L1 and L2 take the R1/R2 spots on the right shoulder, giving easy access to commands that require the "all three punch/kick" inputs. It's definitely made my game much easier on the fingers. I know there's a lot of negative press, but I would say you are best off trying it out for yourself. I was apprehensive after the reviews, too, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

the controller feels great in my hand

Ordered in Mid February. The D Pad is not effective with the combos and moves, so I have to use the Analog Stick. After two and half months of moderate play the rubber ring around the top of the Left Analog Stick is peeling off. My O Button sticks constantly, you have to press the button twice as hard to have the button pop loose. Sometimes during the heat of an online match my thumb will slip off of the x button and slide down and hit the options button, which is my fault, but I wish the options button was on top of the stick. On the plus side, the controller feels great in my hand. Has an above average length controller cord, and the Analog Stick feels great (at least unitl the rubber started peeling off).
