I wouldn't recommend buying this dash-cam...Reminds me of the Flip video camera, defective product...company filed bankruptcy.

The GOOD; Works great and easy to use....Plug it into the ciggerette lighter power source and it turns on when the car is on and turns off shortly after the car is turned off...There is a power button to turn it back on if you want to record after your car is turned off...Great for police stops, just turn the camera towards the drivers side window after you power it up....It will keep everyone honest. The BAD; After owning it and using two, one in my vehicle and the other in my wife's car I have had to plug the camera into my PC and reformat the SD card.....that's what is requiring when it gives me a blue screen and displays data error....My wife's camera had done this twice then went snowy white....I plugged it into my PC and reformatted it but noticed some of the videos weren't able to be viewed, they were scrambled which is unacceptable especially if you need a video for an accident or an assault in your vehicle by someone.... I replaced the Micro SD cards in both cameras, the SD cards it came with seem to freeze up....The cameras worked fine till my wife's camera shuts off all the time....this camera is JUNK....DON'T BUY! I replaced the micro SD card with a Hi-Def 128 gig card and it worked but after using it with the NEW card the camera wouldn't download or view videos from my PC.....I put the stock micro card back into it and it worked but this card has failed three times already....

Excellent little cam

I wanted an affordable dashcam that would not take up too much room on my windshield and I came across this GEKO model and after reading the specs decided to give it a chance. For the price you couldn’t really go wrong. I am really surprised by the excellent video quality and the cool features this tiny dashcam has. Although I was mostly interested in its’ size, small and compact, I didn’t really think the features would prove to be an added bonus, but they are. The nighttime videos are really great, no complaints and the day videos are much more clear than other models I was looking into. The fact that this dashcam has a great price, clear videos, and is so small you can hardly see that it is there from outside my vehicle, I would recommend it.
