Perfect for work!
By Placeholder on Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2025
I recently purchased this voice amplifier and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear, even for extended periods, making it perfect for mobile use. Despite its small size, the sound quality is loud and clear, easily reaching a group of 20-30 people without distortion with correct position or else you will hear feedback. What I appreciate most is that it comes with complete accessories: a headset microphone, waist/shoulder strap, charging cable, and even a user manual that’s actually helpful. It’s lightweight, user-friendly, and comes ready to use straight out of the box.

Decent little light weight speaker
By Elizabeth Thuc Arnold on Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2021
I bought this during the COVID pandemic because my voice gets so muffled under my N95 mask/face shield or elastomeric respirator/helmet and find myself having to lean in close to patients and shout in their ear. This little voice amplifier has saved my voice. Sound quality is good enough except when I put my AirPods in my ears too, then I get a repetitive clicking interference on the speaker, which can be mitigated if I turn the volume down. With the respirator I have to aim the mic down because the mouth piece of the respirator sits low. Sometimes the mic in that position is too close to the speaker and gives a horrible feedback, which again can be mitigated by turning the volume down. So I find it best to have the speaker hanging on the hip further away. Battery life is decent enough. It can last up to 3 days the way I use it. But I haven’t figured out how to tell when my battery is low other than the speaker not staying on for more than a couple of minutes at a time. UPDATE: alas, I had to retire this little voice amplifier after just 2 years. The little plastic loops that the strap clips into break so easily. when one of them broke I was still able to use the strap to hang it around my neck. But when the 2nd loop broke and I was no longer able to use the strap to hang it, I had to use the clip to clip it to my pocket. Unfortunately, every time I walked the movement of my legs would wriggle the device free and it would fall out of my pocket. The final fall proved fatal as it broke the volume wheel. Sadly, I think the mechanics would have lasted longer had the little plastic loops of attachment not failed so early. for that I'm taking away a star. I am, however, very happy with the SHIDU voice amplifier I bought to replace this unit. the SHIDU has longer battery life, and minimal clicking interference when I put my AirPods in my ears.
