Fabulous value, well designed, great sounding, solid and compact for travel. My everyday headphone.

Sound great for a pair of headphones I use for: - listening to music at work on my computer or phone. - isolate office noise nicely. No bulky cancellation stuff, just good old isolation I am very impressed with the sound quality. As a frame of reference I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 500 series that I plug into a nice amp. I find these Phillips to not make me want to go to all that effort; i'm happy just plugging these into my laptop. Very comfortable. After a day of use your ears may get a little compressed though. As a glasses wearer I find them very comfortable. I rest the arms of my glasses over the top of the padding, which doesn't change the angle too much. The pads are just the right size. They isolate a fair bit of noise on an aeroplane. I stick them on on red eyes with some music going and it helps cut out some noise. Probably not as good as noise cancelling, but then they don't have all that crazy extra gear. I LIKE SIMPLE. One of my favorite features is how the pads turn to flatten so that they can be slipped into my shoulder bag next to my laptop and hardly take up any space. I really like this low profile as it means I can take with me every day back and forth to work, or in a heavily stuffed shoulder bag. The competitors of this have elaborate folding mechanisms which I think take up more space. These just slip in a bag. Nicely designed. Love they have a microphone so I can take phone calls at work easily hands free and mute with one touch. They look awesome and have held together nicely for daily usage for 7 months. Very well made with great materials. For the price right now ($69.99) these are an absolute bargain for the quality. I would be happy paying $150.

Obviously defective. Had to return for a refund.

Bought these to replace a similar pair I purchase about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, it was easy to see that the headphone padding was not properly attached. The leather seams were not connected and therefore the headphones could not be used. I immediately returned the product (returns were easy.) Disappointed that Philips would ship a product with such an obvious defect. I may try to order again as I really like the sound and comfort from my 10- Year old pair of headphones.
