(NEW) Sylvania Proscan Under Cabinet Clock Radio

Great product for the price. The selling point for me was the charging port (just note that it is for charging only, not for music).It did have a problem at first with FM reception, but extending the power cord and taping it to the bottom of the cabinet fixed that. Reception is acceptable now, although now perfect. Another review talked about plugging it into a power strip, but this did not help (grounding is not the issue -- I'm an electrical engineer, I know what I'm talking about).Bluetooth works great, easy to connect. Volume is good. Not audiofile sound, but fine for the price. Setting the clock and setting and using FM presets takes some getting used to. The template was helpful for mounting.

Nice unit for good price. Easy to install and connect. a little difficult to do preset channels and recall but it just may be a learning curve thing. No AM radio ! ....so no news talk shows etc......i am sure the info indicates this but i must have missed that detail. AM talk radio is my daily go to.....you can connect via I heart radio to get your favorite programs etc.

Used This radio in under our Kitchen Cabinet. The size was Perfect! The speaker sound is good and had no problems getting channel reception. Love the large led display for clock time and radio stations. Can see display from across our kitchen room. Our old radio became a nightmare when setting buttons started to crumble and fade. This new radio is very easy to use. It does have some extra features which I like! It's a Plain and simple ( clock Radio) that looks great sounds good and easy to program. If you are looking for a straight forward under counter clock radio (this would be the one). Works for ME! Thanks Hope this helps in your decision making.

We were on the fence at first but figured we'd give it a try. However, for $30, this is a great buy! Right out of the box, we were able to tune in our local stations and the Bluetooth feature works very well. We got this specifically for our kitchen when we're cooking or doing dishes. No issues at all. If you're worried about volume, don't be! This little unit is so loud that we can hear it in the living room with no issues and minimal distortion. The battery back up function is a nice little feature. No, it does not have an AM tuner or a CD player, but if you're reading this, you should already know that. We bought it for FM and Bluetooth and it delivers both functions better than expected and at a fraction of the cost when compared to others.

This radio did not receive ANY radio stations clearly; not local stations or stations further away. Four other radios in my house have no trouble picking up several stations. Clock seems to work fine, the the price is to high to just get a working clock.

Didn't actually put it up under the cabinet yet but it has great sound and range.

A few things to note:1. Was pretty sure the listing said it is a CD player, which is why I bought it. Not a cd player, just so no one else is confused.2. Bluetooth connection is wonky. I was able to connect my phone easily, but the sound kept cutting in and out, which is really irritating if you are listening to an audiobook.3. Clock display is very dim.All in all, not what I wanted, was also missing parts for installation that were pictured in description, so I ended up returning it.

Good for the money. Best for blue tooth reception. Not great for FM reception

This was easy to install, Bluetooth connected really quick too! My only complaint is that it doesn’t seem to get very good reception.
