Excellent mount
By Inferno10808 on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2015
I've been all over looking for the "perfect" mount for my bike. This is as close to perfection as it gets. Very easy to mount on bike. Holds my iPhone 6 very stable without any noticeable wobble whatsoever. I thought the red elastic on the corners would interfere with the headphone jack or the screen, but they don't at all. They are very easy to adjust. And one day I actually forgot to even use them and didn't realize it until I took my phone off after a 20mile ride. The phone didn't budge at all even without the straps. The view can be adjusted to virtually any angle, which is a huge plus and that was a deal breaker for other mounts I looked in to. The only issue one might have with this mount is because of the design, it does stick up quite a bit, so you won't really get a low profile. I'm sure it looked a little silly to other racers when I used it during a 1 hour criterium race. But since I'm a category 5 racer anyways, I couldn't care less what they think. For the price and quality, I think this is by far the best bike mount out there. Very satisfied. Pros: - Sturdy - Easy mount - Easy adjusting for any viewing angle - Compatible with nearly any phone - Good price for the quality of the product Cons: - Not low profile

Strange company response
By Terry Atwood on Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2015
I have yet to use this product, although it looks like it will do the job required. I am writing here to relate my communications with this company, which were strange indeed. When I received the Aduro U-grip, the bolt for the clamp was missing. Here is a cut-down version of my e-mails regarding this situation: Me: Screw missing. The screw for the clamp was not included with the hardware. Could you please send me one haste-post-haste? Aduro: Thank you for submitting your request. We are processing it. Aduro: In order to further assist you, Please provide a screenshot of your voucher (proof of purchase) with item specifications, date of purchase and order number. Me: I'm not sure why this is needed, but here it is. (Screen shot of Amazon order) Aduro: Can you please send us an image which indicates the date of purchase? Me: The date of purchase, June 8, 2015, is clearly stated in the top left-hand corner of the image I sent you. Here it is again, this time with the date circled in red. Aduro: This link will allow you to create a USPS return label. Once we receive the defective item a replacement will be shipped. Please also note the entire product must be returned in order to receive a replacement. Me: I do not have a defective unit that needs to be returned. The unit is just fine. All I need is a simple bolt. Could you please send me one? Aduro: Unfortunately we do not sell these parts separately. In order to receive a replacement the entire unit will need to be returned. I'd say that's more than just unfortunate. The bolt, by the way, appears to be a 10 32 1/2" affair with an unnecessarily refined hex head. I'm using a steel slot-head bolt temporarily but will replace it with a Phillips-head stainless steel one next trip to the hardware. This product may be fine, but their service backup leaves a great deal to be desired. [Edit] A 10 32 1/2" Stainless-Steel Phillips-head bolt cost $0.33 at the hardware. It works perfectly and needs no special tool. Ya' really gotta wonder.
