so far I love it A LOT
By poooo on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2014
I just received this from usps around 3pm today, so far I love it A LOT! Especially the retractable features. I was so sick and tired of wires dangling around, one side keeps fall off my ear, and getting in my way while i'm doing things cooking, jogging, and lifting weights. I read the reviews that other people posted on amazon before I ordered this and what ppl said about the sound not being good enough, I really don't think that is true at all. IMO the sound sounds great! It sounds way better than the new apple earpods that came with my iphone, it sounds better than the skull candy headphones I have. Although, I did have some problems pairing it at first but it was my own fault because right when I took everything out the box I plugged the usb to my computer to charge the LG infinim but what I didn't know was that it can't be paired to your phone if the usb is connected to the infinim so it took me 5 minutes to figure that out before I got it to pair with my iphone successfully. I tried to register my new tone infinim on the LG website but when I got to the web page it asked me for IMEI number. I looked everywhere but couldn't find an IMEI number so I spoke with LG live chat and the representative said IMEI is for phones and that i'm registering the wrong product. So, I sent him the link to show him, he thanked me for letting him know about the error and told me that I can't register my product until they remove the IMEI number required box on that web page. Update: 2 more days and I've owned this product for 3 weeks, um.. so far there hasn't been any technical problems, everything is working fine and how it should be. I bring the infinim out with me pretty much everywhere I go. There is a grocery store across the street from where I live and I go there a lot to buy drinks and snacks when I'm not at the supermarket doing groceries so they know me quite well. The second day after I got the infinim the employees that work there were curious about what I'm wearing on my neck because they never seen it before so I told them about the infinim. Today I went to the store again and I see three of the people working there wearing the older models of LG bluetooth neckbands and I was so surprised that I got them into getting something similar haha. Anyways, The only problem is that I lost a lot of weight again so like when I'm jogging with the Infinim tends to shift around I'm thinking because it's loose now because of my weight loss, my traps are a bit asymmetrical OR the hoodie I'm wearing is moving it while i'm jogging. But I guess I'll find out when spring and summer comes so I don't need to wear a hoodie to jog(I don't jog on treadmills because it makes me feel like a hamster trapped in a room, and running on a hamster wheel).

LG ? It's a joke
By Ubylive on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2015
when you buy a premium product you'd expect a certain level of attention.... But the way LG works is visible in the details... Let's start from the packaging .... Is someone at LG reading the text before printing ? On the backside there is a quite embarassing "Harmon Kardon" instead of Harman Kardon... Good start.. You open the package and the manual is just tiny .. You need a magnifying lens to read it... No problem I will download the PDF manual and read the pdf on the iPad... Go on the LG site which looks modern and polished... Let's how they really care aout the customer ... Locate the product support .. Go into the manual sections and of course searching the keyword Infinim is not showing anything.. Ok let's try HBS-900 ... Nothing. Look on the Internet .. Nothing. You are not able to provide a damn pdf manual ? ... .this is an awful starting experience. I will update the review later when trying better the product... Update after real use of the product. I added 2 star because the product in itself is ok, I would say average even if not up to the hype and the price level. I found the retractable earbuds very useful but as a matter of fact the length of the cables are a little bit tight so for some people it could't really work, for me are still ok even if at the limit. Audio quality is very good for audio in input, but I was very disappointed from hearing that the people listening to me during driving are not really satisfied and they complain about a metallic or very closed sound. I did a comparison test while driving and all the people liked much more the voice from my iPhone 5s in a normal hands free configuration even if with the background noise of the vehicle that the voice coming from the headset with the microphone just in front of my mouth (vs the iPhone located at the center of the dashboard on a excellent iMagnet cradle). At this price level you would expect much more as regards the quality of the microphone isn't it ? I found also some problems when for example using Google Maps on the iPhone.... for some strange reason the headset is recognizing a not existing end of the call and keeps repeating the same wrong message vocally .. very annoying. Relaunching the app usually solves the problem. Sometimes also the volume control doesn't work properly but again this seems linked to the sequence of the BT coupling between the Headset and the iPhone and if the app was already launched or not... I would say nothing really serious... Overall an average product definitely overpriced. On the positive side the design is very nice and the product is not so invasive so you tend to forget to wear it... Cannot judge yet the length of the battery as I usually recharge it when I get back home.
