Not configurable. No adjustment side to side on the studs.

The important thing to know about this "up to 24 inch stud" kit will only mount centered on your 24" studs EXACTLY. So, if you need your TV anywhere other than centered between the studs, this won't work. That could mean your TV will be an entire foot one direction or the other from where you want it. Woops! That doesn't work on on a wall that you want your TV actually centered on. They leave no room for centering. Edit, they contacted me and said they would send the 32" kit but I had already bought something local. I still feel like the description should mention that the widest holes are only 24" on a 24" stud kit. They did refund my money for the mounting kit.
