Otterbox Commuter Case for iPhone 6

LOVE IT! It is great as always...I have had Otterbox Defender cases for my previous 2 phones as well. This OtterBox Defender case is as fully protective as a case can be while still remaining functional and attractive. I am very happy I bought it! I purchased this OtterBox case after the Trident case I purchased (on recommendation from the store where I purchased my iPhone 6) proved to be a disappointment (not nearly protective or sturdy enough after only a short amount of use) - more details in my review of the Trident case. I love all the features of the OtterBox case (no adverse issues and do not anticipate any - I just received it). Touchscreen and home button functionality are excellent, though as mentioned in another review I am so far unable to successfully use Touch ID to unlock phone which is a slight inconvenience I suppose, but can I still easily use my passcode which is how I unlocked my previous iPhones. (Update: So far I have been able to successfully use the Touch ID, but I had create it upside down so the case does not impact the print scan - perhaps not ideal but nonetheless an option). I do not mind the trade off for better protection and frankly the Touch ID feature has always worked on a hit and miss basis even before this case. I have complete accessibility to all the ports and buttons for my needs. It takes a little bit of effort to adjust volume with the button covers but I am guessing that may improve over time with use...definitely not a big issue for me in knowing how well protected my phone is. The case as is (without using the cover and holster clip) is very protective and if using the holster clip cover then the screen is fully protected - yes the cover does add bulk but if you feel the need to have additional protection (or like to clip your phone onto you), it is great to have the option! It seems the only likely area of possible damage under most usage circumstances when using the case and clip holster screen cover together would probably be water or any other liquid/substance which might get into any holes/ports which are not fully covered such as the speaker (or if phone was immersed in water etc) - though the areas which are "exposed" are still protected as compared to other cases (or no case). I know my phone is much better protected now that I have an OB Defender case again...very pleased. Thank you OtterBox for creating another great iPhone case :))!
