Great product.

Quality shines through here. I replaced an 8” monoprice sub with this. I went with the 10 over the 12 to get clean tight bass. I am impressed with the quality but kind of wish I went with the 12 instead. This is probably me just being picky but at times of deep bass I can hear this odd sound of the air moving out of the rear port. Almost like a piece of paper flapping around in there. It gets better when I pull the sub off the wall but I think the 12” may help with hitting the lows. This is also depending on the content. 95% of the time it’s not noticeable at all. Everyone says bladerunner 2049 is a great soundtrack to showcase atmos with. When I watched it that sound came through in any deep bass scene of the movie. We watched Disney’s Cars movie right after and the sound quality blew me away. Very happy with the purchase in the end! Update a few months maybe even a year later…That noise I was talking about has gone away completely. I don’t know if it was my placement or the fact that it needed to be broken in a bit but it’s perfect now. I also bought the 12” version of this recently. My thought was to set the crossover higher on the 10 and real low on the 12. Still dialing it in but I genuinely wish I went with a second 10. The highs are soo much cleaner and clearer. I have the 10” crossover set to 100hz with no complaints. I have to run the 12” down at 60hz. The 80-100hz range on the 12” does not sound good. 70hz and lower will hit and hit hard which is great but if your main speakers don’t cover that 70-100hz range well it’s not worth it going with the 12”. 2 tens is absolutely the way to go. Klipsch makes high quality speakers and I would instantly recommend them to anyone looking to get into home theater. On a side note my room is very small maybe 200-300 square feet if your room is large you may want to consider the 12’s.

Klipsch Reference R-10SW subwoofer 42/4/24 UPDATE...Now they claim I cancelled this order! Sorry folks, the seller placed a Stop and Return order. Still Zero Stars 2/2/24 I have given this product 3 stars. Not because I have used it, because it was never delivered; but because I have previously heard this product and it was very good. My order was placed, and a day later I received a confirmation that it had been shipped. Finlay, late on the day of delivery I received an email saying there was a problem and would be delayed 5 days. After the 5 days, still no delivery. I checked and found out that the seller a\had issued a “stop and return” order after the product had been shipped. After taking my money, the seller changed his mind and refused to live up to his end of the sale. I am not impressed with the ethics or honesty of this seller! And perhaps worse, this incident reflects very badly on AMAZON itself for dealing with this dishonest seller. ZERO STARS for both Amazon and the seller! Willy
