Very good/versatile mount for a medium to small projector!
By CarefulCustomer on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2015
Overall this unit is very well built, not hideous, and offered at a really reasonable price. It is flexible in mounting locations (ceiling and wall) and comes with hardware to mount just about any projector. I use it with an old Panasonic PT-L500U, which weighs in at 6.4 lbs. If amazon allowed it I would probably give it 4.6 stars, because it is a bit of work putting it together and adjusting it. Once it is done though it is perfect. I definitely recommend this product for medium to small projectors.Pros:1) The unit is fairly sturdy. I anchored the left two screws in a stud (the right two are in dry wall anchors) and I am not worried about my projector falling down at all. People that complain about a projector falling must have only put it in drywall. The joints flex a little bit with the projector mounted, but this is because of how many joints there are (i promise this unit is not going to fail/break).2) The part that you use to mount the actual projector is very versatile. It comes with two different length arms (that slide along the rails) and three different size screws. It took about 10 minutes to get the projector mounted, but it feels really solid. I have no idea how people have issues with the mounting system. My projector has 4 smaller screws towards and one large screw in the center. I only used the 4 smaller screws, but I am confident it will support it without a problem.3) The unit allows for significant adjustment on 3 axis. You can adjust the image left/right, up/down, and rotate the image in either direction.Cons:1) There is no fine adjustment. You tighten the screws to set the position but it still allows for some movement. Once it is aligned it is golden, but if you sneeze on the unit you may need to adjust it again.2) The base (the part attached to the wall) could have been longer for better leverage. I know I said the unit is really solid, and it is, but with a longer (vertically) base this unit could handle some really heavy projectors. If it was properly mounted of course.3) The cord management is nearly useless. If you are going to use it make sure to follow the instructions and guide the wire BEFORE assembly. My projector has two wires going to it, power and dvi (I know, old school), and it would have been a real challenge getting it through the arm. I decided to just run the wires outside of it, it looks ok.

Sturdy build quality for the price
By RSaiBuyer on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2015
Bought this product recently. It seems to be ok product.pros: Sturdy build quality for the price. Has all hardware to install product on wall.Cons: I have two HDMI cables and power cord running through the tube and that seem to cause telescopic action to stop working. Product was used on optoma projector with three holes on bottom. Screws provided with product doesn't seem to screw completely. Produce assembly is not simple and straight forward.
