Exactly what I needed. Great mids.

I got these to replace the Mach 460 door speakers that are set with a designated x-over to sub 300hz frequencies. I can't speak for the tweeters on these speakers but they are exactly what I needed for mid range door speakers to match my subwoofer output. They are probably getting about 50 watts each and at 3/4 volume on my head unit they are just short of clipping, which is almost exactly where the gain for my subs is dialed in. At 76% I can hear a bit of distortion if I isolate the front speakers, but even pushing them past that doesn't cause much more distortion, you just lose more mid range output. Hard to describe, sorry. It's almost like they have a built in clipping meter that cuts out any frequency causing distortion.

My stock speakers were louder and bass, maybe i should have at least gave them a chance to get broke in. Instead of returning them.they might be better wit a amp

they sound way better than i expected for the price that i paid for them. id highly reccomend for anyone wanting good quailty sound to buy these. i will most likely be getting another set of theses when im ready to change out my rear speakers.
