I'm very pleased with this TV mount. It's well engineered and takes into account any problems you might encounter installing it. They've got you covered. The package includes extra parts for various scenarios and a template to help on the install. It's even designed so that if you make a small mistake installing it there are adjustments built in to correct minor mistakes. The directions are well written in easy to understand English. The first directions has you check to make sure that the mount is going to work for you so you're not wasting your time. I gave "easy to install" only 4 stars because the steps are very methodical and thus takes a bit of time. At least that is my experience. The end result is that my TV is hanging securely and safely. Finally, the price was quite reasonable, I highly recommend this mount and I'm very pleased.

Sticks out from wall to center

Product is very sturdy, easy enough to install. My issue is that it needs to be installed into wall studs (not complaining there - safest, best way to install) but studs are not located in a center of a wall most times. So once installed, to actually center the TV on the wall you need to adjust - with this mount in order to center on my wall the TV is a good 6" away from the wall. I was not expecting it to be flush by any means, but I didn't expect it to stick out so far from the wall in order to have the TV centered.
