This camera really delivers. In bright sun light or in total darkness, it provides an excellent on screen picture of whats behind you. The distance bars are really a great addition. It makes hooking up a boat or utility trailer much easier and no more bumping into the tongue of the trailer.

Good function and value, minor complaints

Camera being used with a Pioneer in-dash receiver. Works well, image has some fish-eye distortion but is clear and bright. 3 minor issues, though. First, as others have reported, the RCA video cable is too short to run from the dash to the rear hatch in my Ford Escape - would need to be about 3 feet longer. They should provide a 20' cable instead of 15'. This was easily fixed with an extension RCA cable I had around. Second is that the up/down tilt is very limited; Though I can see everything OK I would have liked to aim the camera a little lower than it will go. Third is the width of the mounting bracket - the slots are much wider than needed for the standard license plate mounting holes, and the bracket partially blocks the registration sticker on the plate. These are all minor - it gets the job done, and is a bargain for the price (less than 1/4 the cost of the Pioneer camera).
