Awesome TV for a great price
By RobTrueman on Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2015
Absolutely a fantastic TV for the money! I was never completely sold on Vizio as a brand, but couldn't deny the good looks and great picture of the sets I've seen in friends/family's houses. When it was time to replace a TV in my bedroom, I thought this was a great time to move the living room set to the bedroom and get something new for the main viewing room. I looked any many tvs - plasma, LED, OLED, 4k, Samsung, Sony, LG, etc. There are some really great sets out there at all price points. But for what I was looking for, I thought I needed to spend $3K. Well, with three kids and a smart wife, there was no way that was going to happen. I finally found decent reviews about the M602 from Vizio. A set with full array local dimming at $1,000? Hmmm. I actually looked at the set at my local Costco and wasn't blown away. But I chalked this up to a bad signal and poor settings. After taking delivery about two weeks ago, I couldn't be happier with this set. It's blacks are killer black and colors are awesome after some calibration (you can find a bunch of different settings in these reviews or on AVSForums). Watching movies on this set is pure joy as is watching FIOS. The smart features work well and I like the way the set updates itself over the network fixing issues and adding new features. I'm pretty picky about video displays and know a little bit about what to look for. This set exceeded my expectations and I'm looking forward to catching up on all my favorite shows.

Delivery issues, not a clue yet about t.v.
By R. S. Holt on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2014
BEWARE THE 'SET-UP' DELIVERY PEOPLE. When one chooses the delivery time---that's just to seduce you further into purchasing the t.v. I spoke with "Charise", we discussed delivery times, she's a good talker, sure fooled me. I asked for 12-3pm, as I indicated on the order form, & they two men showed up at 9:28. I asked if they could come at noon---that was ignored. They were gone by 9:50. That short amount of time would have been fine---if I had had everything in place waiting for them to install the new t.v., as I assumed I would have---after all, they (AMAZON) established the delivery scheduled. The cursory, well-rehearsed comment from one of the fellows, "Sorry for your inconvenience", isn't close to compensation for the hours I'll have to spend to re-install correctly (at least they didn't drop it in their haste--that I could see). Bitter? definitely. Make this sort of mistake again? Not a chance. Congratulations, Charise (oh, right, you called me, so I have no phone number to call back and complain) & AMAZON, you "got" me good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got hours to go, setting-up a better installation than putting it in general area of the living room. Richard Holt / Florida
