AMAZING SOUND. Very satisfied with the product's sound quality.

AMAZING SOUND. Very satisfied with the product's sound quality. I have no plans to use blue tooth, so I have not tried it. I purchased to listen to music in the kitchen. It arrived promptly in good condition. I love the sound quality of the CD player. Only negatives were: I used the template included, but it's not accurate. I made my own template. The radio has no antenna and must be installed in the best place for reception. If you simply want to listen to CD's like me. Then, I would recommend this unit. It is a great value.

TLDR: Nothing like the picture; it works, but it's a poor value

Probably a great CD/radio and it has an antenna wire. But the mounting hardware is terrible. Other radios come with spacers, but not this radio (see photo for mounting hardware and instructions). It will be impossible to mount this radio under cabinets with a lip with this hardware (additional carpentry required). Also, if you follow their instructions, the sharp end of the mounting screws may poke through the bottom of your cabinet. Other radios install with the screws in the opposite direction to avoid this. Finally, mounting requires that you mount a plate to your cabinet and then slide the radio onto the plate (see photos). Well, this is very difficult to do. It's going to be a bear to get the radio on the plate after I mount it. Mounting is comparatively very difficult. Nothing a handy person cannot do, but not easy. Edit: I noticed that my unit doesn't seem to match the picture or the descriptions, so I checked the box. It is the right model. I guess they revised it. Note that it now DOES have an AM radio (see picture). I wonder how much of all the old reviews apply to this model? Edit: Since writing the above, I've installed the unit and I'm reducing my rating to 1 star because it's NOT a great radio. First, my fears about mounting were largely correct (except it's not hard to slide the unit onto the mounting plate). I re-used some 1-inch spacers (for the one-inch lip on my cabinets) from the previous radio and that produced a noticeable gap (about 0.5 inches), which I dislike (but my wife doesn't mind; see photo). I could reduce this a bit, but there will always be some gap because of the way the mounting works (the top of the radio cannot be flush with the cabinet bottom). FWIW, I used 2 inch number 8 wood screws with a 1/8 inch guide hole. With 1-inch spacers, this works perfect without sharp points in the cabinet. I ran the antenna through a hole and up the back of cabinet. The radio sounds distinctly tinny compared to the previous under-cabinet clock/radio. I know this unit is not intended for audiophiles, but if you care at all about music, you can't help notice. The range of volume is good from very soft to quite loud (probably louder than you'd want). Bluetooth pairing was flawless and easy with our moto g 5's. Unpairing isn't difficult, but then you have to repeat the pairing steps. In limited use, the CD works fine. The FM radio is a little hard to tune (e.g., it jumps from 93.0 to 93.2, skipping WXRT at 93.1), and it's not particularly good at tuning in a station without static. I was disappointed. Also, the controls aren't all easy. For example, tuning is a large, responsive knob that makes it too easy to skip past your station, whereas 16 level of volume are controlled by two buttons that aren't particularly sensitive (there's a tiny delay in registering the button press). And also, the display is VERY hard to read when the unit is in stand-by mode (i.e., "off") and there are steps (like setting the clock) that can only be done when the unit is in standby mode. Finally, the remote works fine. It's extremely tiny and doesn't include any mounting (no Velcro, no magnet) so it will be easy to lose; our previous radio was magnetized and we kept it on the side of the fridge. We'll probably need to find some Velcro. Summary: It works, but it's a poor value.
