Bluetooth works great
By Jim Mathews on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2014
This speaker is great, and it has disco lights ( they do not follow the beat of the music but does have a few pre-set patterns) Its portable it has wheels and a handle. This one is obviously 400 watts which is great for a back yard party. It has lots of connections Bluetooth, SD card slot, USB, AUX, knobs for your master volume, bass, treble and separate mic volume control.Has 2 balanced mic inputs, one is XLR and the other 1/4". It comes with good quality wired mike and a wireless belt type headset mic. Both work well and the wireless has a range of about 35 feet. The speaker box also has mounting hole in the bottom for a stand. It does make a very small hum when I power on the lights with no music. It is not enough to affect any type of professional use but I thought it worth mentioning. I think there is a small motor or separate power supply moving the light pattern and colors. You can't hear it when the music starts. There is a power button for the unit and another for the lights. The Bluetooth connects really easily to my iPad and iPhone. It has a range of 25 to 30 feet without any problem. Very clear. The 400 Watt 10" speaker is definitely enough to fill my entire back yard and the neighbors back yard with sound. It has bass! The Battery recharges and lasts longer than the specs say. Mine lasted about 4 hours on one charge. I let it charge completely over night for that.
