Amazing telescope!
By M. Monteiro on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2014
This is my first ever telescope, and I absolutely love it. Still learning to use it, though. Wasn't able to align the scope with the app because here in Rio de Janeiro's sky, there's too much city light, so couldn't find 3 bright stars. However, was still able to get an amazing view of the moon and Mars. I'm completely in love. Any amateur astronomer who buys this telescope will be very satisfied! Very easy to put together. Started out with the 25mm eyepiece, then used the 10mm eyepiece... amazing.

Too many problems
By Rich on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2014
I was unable to align the telescope. Manual says to pick three bright stars to align. I did that on a perfectly clear night and it waits until the third start to tell you that the alignment failed. Tried several times and gave up. Also, lost connection to the wifi while trying to use this thing but my iPad was only a few feet away. The finderscope is very hard to use when your star is at a high angle above you. You need to sit on the ground to get low enough to see through it. It should be a right angle finder. Using the Celestron app has it's drawbacks. Trying to move the telescope with the app requires you to look at the app instead of being able to look through the telescope. I would prefer real buttons on the telescope for moving it around the sky.
