great unit

All previously purchased small inverters crapped out after a short time; THIS ONE HASN'T, IT IS A LONG LIFE UNIT.. GLAD I BOUGHT TWO. I'm off grid solar and don't have a lot of watts or battery amps; I have another excellent inverter, the Samlex 2000 for watt hungry electric mower, induction cook top, etc, but when I'm just using my modem and laptop, I don't want to suck the 1.1 amp idle draw and 10% inverter power use, I use one of these small inverters and this PYLE unit has proven to be the long life king of them all.. one for the house, the other for the car.

It has been a waste of my time

I have ordered this 50 Watt inverter twice. The first arrived in an undamaged shipping envelope. The seal on the inverter's undamaged box was broken, and the inverter in the box was bent and dented, one of the case screws was backed out, and the bottom of the case was loose in the box. I returned it. The replacement arrived in an undamaged envelope. Again, the shipping envelope was undamaged, but the seal on the box was broken. I plugged the second inverter into the 12V sockets on two of my cars and turned it on and off, but the green LED did not light, and the inverter would not start my electric shaver. In the 12V socket of my third car the LED would again not light, but the razor would run intermittently. I am also returning this inverter. It appears that I am being shipped uninspected / untested returned merchandise. It has been a waste of my time.
