hi my is Anthony De Vignes i am going to say it again Jabra is the boss for me on the market i bought the jabra sport wireless and jabra stone 3 on the 01-24-2014. i bought the jabra stone 3 first and when i saw the jabra sport wireless i said to myself i must have it also,i love the stone 3 the way it speak to you and if your smartphone has voice control better yet it let you know who is calling it also let you know how much talk time you have,i also like the way you can charge both charger and headset when the talk time is low you just take the headset and put it into the charger and leave it a few minutes and it will charge right up again without plugin it into any outlet.i want to let everyone to know if you are having any problems with the ear jells you can use the jells from the jabra bt 250 or the jabra bt 2020 they work perfect just use a tip of petroleum jelly and they slip right on and i can tell you great sound way to go jabra you are the master of all masters.

Looks good ok performance

This bluetooth looks great...but thats where the good stuff ends. For ME it doesn't fit in my ear properly, if i tilt my head to the side it falls out of my ear canal but not off my ear. I use it for work where I move around a lot and I find myself adjusting the bluetooth a lot. Also I find it hard to hear the person on the other line when I'm driving my car with all the road noise, something that wasn't an issue the the last bluetooth I've owned. Another issue I have with the stone 3 is the way you answer the calls. You can say answer or you could click the button on the side. If people are around me talking or even if i say "answer" to answer the call, it says rejected and hangs up the call. This happens 99% of the time. I use the physical answer button to accept the call now. Lastly the battery is horrendous . I constantly am worried that the bluetooth will die on me. 2 hours is just not enough for ME and I don't want to carry around the charger at all times. In conclusion I cannot recommend this bluetooth mainly to the fit and voice quality and clarity of the bluetooth it self. But it does look great.

Maybe just a bad item, but very disappointed

I have had a Jabra Stone before so I was looking forward to this new version. I have to say disappointing for a couple of reasons. First, the battery in the earpiece won't charge correctly. From the first time I charged it the maximum life I got was 90 minutes not the advertised 120. Also they won't hold the charge so whether I am using the headpiece or not the battery discharges. Also the earpiece won't take a charge from the stone. So it's great that the stone holds and extra 8 hours of battery but the earpiece wont charge at all unless the stone is plug in. A poor design that you can't also plug the headset in directly. There is also a lot of noise in the earpiece. While it is sitting in my ear, I can hear electronic noise in the background when I'm not using it on calls. Really? Buzzing and electronic noise? No thanks. I have tried to contact Jabra customer service with NO response of any kind and it's been two weeks. Pretty much wasted money and certainly I will never purchase anything from this company again.
A respectable upgrade from the Stone2

I have owned the Stone, Stone2 and now the Stone3. I owned several Jawbone Icons in between, but despite the high quality of these headsets, I keep coming back to the Stone for a number of reasons, noteably the much more physically and psychologically comfortable douche-free-look of the headset, and the impressive total battery life of the stone+headset combo. The eargel selections are the same, useless bunch that do nothing for fit, except to keep the headset from fitting into the stone. The one feature that has gone on the Stone3 is the belt clip, in order to accomodate the new NFC zone. The belt clip was convenient, but a POS that constantly snapped off. Despite the large size of the Stone, it is easier to slip in and out of a pocket than an ordinary headset, and the eargels won't fall off in the process - there is really no other headset for pulling out of a jeans pocket while driving. The Stone3 keeps most of the features of the Stone2 that are worth keeping; battery meter LEDs, phone based battery meter, slick volume control that also seems to have improved slightly, easy bluetooth pairing (Though I have not had an opportunity to use the NFC function), and it's ability to pair with multiple devices at once - this is really quite convenient if you use this to stream audio, you can pop the audio back and forth between the phone and your laptop without a lot of hassle. While I haven't had any complaints about the voice quality, it's physically impossible to beat a boom mic headset, that's just a compromise you make for style. Leaving landline voicemails for myself while driving are tolerably clean and audible, that's about the most objective one can be. Compared to the other versions, the biggest difference I have noticed is battery life; while I could barely eek out 45min's total time of streaming audio with the original stone, I have been getting more than 1.5 hrs with the Stone3 before the low battery warning comes on, total life may be comparable to the ACTUAL claim on the packaging for once! I have been getting better performance from phone calls than from streaming as well, but so far no calls long enough to run the battery down. I generally don't take very long calls, and if I do, I tend to use my stereo bluetooth headphones anyway. There is also a nice looking splash of color on the stone that is also functional; it does make it easier to reseat the headset in the dark. The original Stone was a design home run that was too lacking to be functional, and the incremental improvements of the Stone3 rectify a great deal of these. If you're in the market for an on-the-go handsfree for taking calls in the car, listening to podcasts at the grocery store, or listening to the occasional YouTube video sent from a friend while on the go, this is a great little device. If you need to be on conference calls all day, look elsewhere.
great design but can't hear

I've had every version of the Jabra Stone over the years, I love the overall design with its minimalist styling. This latest version- Jabra Stone 3 was a replacement for the Stone 2 that i misplaced. This unit has a better battery life and solid design to boot but, the downside is that I couldn't understand people and had to keep asking them to repeat themselves. It was quite annoying to say the least and the unit kept raising and lowering the volume on its own. I contacted Jabra and they recommended that I go back to Amazon with my complaint. Amazon customer service is just the best in the business so they sent me a replacement unit. Here's the problem, the second unit was as bad as the first one. When receiving calls in the car the conversations were still difficult to understand and I found myself pressing the earpiece against my ear to hear better but, to no avail. I really wanted to like the new Jabra Stone 3 and had to return both units for a credit. Still trying to find a worthy replacement with a minimalist design. William

WOW! This headset is spectacular! It fits nicely on the right ear and is very comfortable. I hate having anything inside my ear, but this earpiece only barely goes in and doesn't bother me at all. Changing the volume is so easy, just a quick swipe of my finger up or down on the front of it does the trick!
I really wanted to like this headset.

I really wanted to like this headset. I've used a Motorola Elite Sliver for years, and I love the idea of a headset that uses a recharging pod. A pod gives me a secure place to keep my headset in my pocket and recharges it at the same time. While the STONE3 does that as well, my issues are more with the performance of the piece. 1st - My biggest challenge with this headset is volume. It just isn't as loud in my ear as other bluetooth headsets. This may be a result of the design as the speaker faces forward instead of towards my ear canal. I've tried the little rubber covers to help funnel the sound into my ear, but they just aren't effective. 2nd - Next issue is talk time. My previous headset offered five hours of talk time before needing a recharge. This one offers only two hours. Yes, it is lighter and smaller, and the pod does provide a quick recharge, but I'd rather have a longer talk time. 3rd - Lastly, weight and fit are also concerns. While a lighter headset is nice, I'm constantly checking to make sure it hasn't fallen off. In fact, I have lost it off my ear a few times, so I think having the thinner part of the headset behind the ear isn't a big help to keep it on my ear - especially since I wear glasses. There are a few things I do like - redial of last number is easy, just push the only button twice. It automatically connects when removed from the pod and disconnects when returned to the pod. The charging contacts are at the bottom of the headset so they are less susceptible to getting wet from my sweat. The NFC pairing feature was painless to use. Would I buy another one? Sadly, no. It's just not as effective for me as my previous pod-charging headset.
While I have used other Jabra products in the past with great success, I can wholeheartedly not recommend this product

I had the opportunity to use and review Bluetooth earpieces for the last 10 years or so. I'm in Support and I'm the phone constantly through out the day, on conference calls, running errands, etc and desire to have the wireless handsfree experience. As such I've used numerous Bluetooth devices over the years both from Jabra and from other companies. While I have used other Jabra products in the past with great success, I can wholeheartedly not recommend this product. Battery life is abysmal. Pros: - sleek - unobtrusive - nice design Con's: - battery life - price Given I'm on the phone all day, I don't expect any device to last for 6+ hours. I cannot get this device to last :30 minutes. Even after a full day's charge, I take it off charge, let it site overnight in its cradle and the next day I have all but :30 minutes remaining. I believe this device was designed to be plugged in all day which contradicts the notion of being hands free. I'm sorely disappointed in this device.
A really good headset!

I really like this headset, there's no doubt about that. Mainly because its so smal and portable, no one notices that you have it on when you meet people. And according to those who i have talked to on the phone, say that the sound is perfect, even when the wind is strong outside. And that's damn good, because many handsfree fail in that remark. So that's good. Very good. And the battery is good as well, the voice in the handsfree says "Time to talk, Two hours". And it usually seems to be correct. And the battery is strong enough for you to play music for a long time before its time to load the headset again. Perfect. And durability, i think it does fine. As long as you dont step on it if you dropp it on the ground, that is. I dont know what to say more.. I like it. I like it alot. So simple, and so good looking. Cool stuff, indeed. I recommend you to buy it, and try it out for yourself.
Misleading manufacture advertising

the ear piece quality is excellent but I bought it based on the stated 10 hr talk time, but that is misleading. The ear piece only holds a 2 hr talk time then you have to recharge it. I needed a piece with longer talk time. The one I replaced had s talk time of 5 hrs. Otherwise the range of the piece is great, the speaker is clear, clarity is exceptional. The type of work I do I would need a piece with a longer talk time. BTW this is no fault of the seller, the delivery was fast. And I would gladly do business with them again. A note to consider, when I spoke with the manufactures tech support line they did not know that it only had a 2hr talk time. They asked me if I had fully charged the item. They also taught it had a ten hr talk time.
