Hands free and ready to work.

I'm glad I finally sprung and purchased these. They may be a generation or two older, but they work fine. I bought the HBS-730's back in 2013. They gave out on me a year later, the power switch broke on the catch. Yea, I used that button a lot, as I did a lot of air travel that year. I was disappointed that they gave out in that fashion. I also did not like the cheap clips used to secure the ear bud line to the neck piece. I had one break easily, and they would always pull off too much when adjusting. Other than that, they worked so much better than a pair of cheap ear buds. I also paid roughly the same price for those, in that Yellow & Blue store, using price matching (with Amazon), and a reward discount. So on to the real review, the LG Tones Pro HBS-750. I got these to replace the wired ear buds I bought, as they get in the way when you're building PCs all day. I purchased these during the Prime Day sales, only to see there wasn't much of a discount than normal. Considering I spent less than Retail on the 730's, this was still a great deal. Aesthetically, they are a bit more pleasing than the 730s. The ear bud clips are a much better wraparound clip, and less likely to snap in the middle. Sound: For what I listen to, it works better than the wired ear buds, with exceptions to random distortion when my phone is on the hip opposite the power button. Doesn't happen often enough to be a issue though. For the most part, I hear people fine when talking, and they hear me fairly well, barring when I'm walking right next to a construction site. Battery: I'll say that I use these for roughly 40 minutes of music a day on average, and phone calls throughout the day. I only have to charge this once every 5-7 days in this usage. If I'm using them to stream music for more than a hour or so a day, 3-5 depending on how heavy. You can connect to up to 2 devices at a time. I usually have it paired with my phone and Surface 2, but occasionally to my laptops when I need to. It will vibrate and announce out of range if you leave your device too far behind. LG has Android and iOS apps for the headset, but they do not offer anything I found beneficial to me. You can use the app to allow certain apps vibrate the headset during a notification, and it can be another gateway to read texts aloud. Nothing my phone can't do now or needs to do. Overall, if you need a hands free headset, without many bells and whistles, with great battery life, this is a great option!

I wish I could find a great pair of wireless earbuds that fit, and work great. These have a few good features but....

Better than any other wireless bluetooth I ever tried (and I have tried many). The best feature here is that it connects to my iPhone and iPod immediately. Great feature!!! I turn it on, and it connects. I don't have to push and hold buttons for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30.... Great! Now to the other points which are the reason I only gave it 3 stars: 1)hurts my ears. what is it with these earbud manufacturers, do they not realize that women have smaller ears?! it comes with 3 sizes but the smallest is BIG! and hard. 2) The buttons are VERY sensitive and not designed properly so if I'm listening to music on my phone, and want to lower the volume, which happens to be a middle button next to the +vol or the call button, I keep making unwanted calls to random people from my contacts because I BARELY touched the call button, while trying to find the -vol. so I mostly use them with my iPod now. 3) these quite pricey wireless headphones DO NOT come with any kind of case whatsoever! I'm not sure why they can't throw in a 25 cent Chinese made cloth bag, or soft/hard case, but I can't fit them in anything and am sure that eventually I will rip the cord while pulling something else out of my bag. I find that cheesy and cheap. 4) many reviewers spoke about how impressed they are with the magnet that holds the earbud in place. Well, there is a magnet, and if you are wearing it, and don't move your head around, they stay in place, buy if you move they come right out, and once again, thrown in my bag they are all over waiting to tear. which brings me to the next point, 5) quite uncomfortable around my neck. Most of the time I feel like something is choking me. 6) the microphone works well when I'm speaking from a quiet room, but if I'm walking, or on the train, it comes across very noisy and people can't really hear me. To end on a more positive note, I like the sound of the music tones but it doesn't block area noise. If you commute and don't want to hear your neighbors chewing gum or speaking loudly, these won't work. If anyone has better wireless earbuds to recommend, please feel free to comment. I WISH I could find a great pair.
